Looking for a life simulation game that is on par with The Sims Online and yet is, itself, a breath of fresh air? Well, look no further! Smeet is just the game for you!

Once you step into the 3D world of Smeet, you’ll be given the option to customise your first look and visit your 3D home! After brief instructions on how to move your avatar, you’re given free rein to explore your new home as well as a chain of quests for you to learn some of the basic controls and to set you off for a good start in Smeet.

While checking out your virtual home, you’ll realise that there are quite a number of things that are interactive. Some of them will produce daily free Dimes – That’s the in-game currency which you’ll be using a lot of; some of them will produce Boosts, which will, in turn, allow you to perform many actions, such as watering your plants in your personal garden or performing an action to collect or harvest ingredients; and some of them will give you Fame Points that you will need to level up and unlock new rooms for your 3D house.

You will also quickly notice that there are plenty of items that you can add to furnish your new home. The items come at a price of course, and some of them can be pretty hefty for a beginner with just a couple of thousand Dimes under his or her belt. However, once you get going, you can easily earn enough Dimes to make your virtual home into your ideal and personal realm. You can even invite fellow Smeeters to visit your home and to check out your cool digs.

Being the social-based game that it is, you will be able to meet and chat with fun and new people. There are also plenty of things to do with your newly found friends in Smeet. You can upload a video to one of the screens in a room and watch the video together. You can also visit live online events, solve puzzles or do quests side by side!

If you’re more of the gaming-sort, you can head on over to Games Corner and try to beat your friends’ high scores. In Smeet, there are a huge variety of casual, integrated browser games that will definitely suit your need. The games may be simple to learn, but they can get pretty challenging to master. These games will definitely make your work hard for that top spot in the leaderboard!

Exploring is another fun aspect of the game. With so many fantastic places to choose from, you’ll be hard-pressed to find a location to start exploring. There will always be a new place for you to go to! There will also be quest givers at some of the locations who will offer daily quests for you to earn some more Dimes – you can never get enough Dimes! There will also be non-player characters (NPCs) who will provide gifts if you help them with a quest. By exploring, you may encounter interactive billboards that will, sometimes, give you gifts or interactive objects that you can play with as well.

Like to look cool and fashionable at all times? No worries, in Smeet you can do just that… and more! With the thousands and thousands of styles available for your 3D avatar, you’ll never be forced to get the same look twice! This game has a pretty impressive repertoire of clothes, accessories, and costumes for your avatar. In addition, there are animations that you can buy that will allow your character to dance like Psy or like an Egyptian… it’s your choice to make! However, most of the fancy ones, garments or animation alike, require a type of currency called ‘Coins’. Coins can be obtained by doing surveys (by clicking the NPCs with a ¢ sign above their heads) or you can use real money to buy them.

Furthermore, it’s always happening in Smeet! There will always be events that will reward you with awesome goods, such as a new, themed room for your 3D home, interactive or decorative items, and pieces of apparels, besides the usual fame points or Dimes.

Another feature that is interesting to note is the virtual pets that you can care for. Although these pets are rather costly for a new Smeeter, the pets are so adorable that you cannot miss out getting one.

While Smeet is a great game to play, it’s rather disappointing that the game cannot be played on the most popular browser and my personal browser of choice, Google Chrome. Moreover, some items that need to be constructed in some of my rooms require help from my Smeet friends, which can be somewhat bothersome and can slow down one’s levelling progress.

Nevertheless, Smeet is very simple to learn and easy to play. It caters to practically everybody since it has lots of beautifully decorated rooms and lounges for the explorers out there, a treasure trove of mini-games for the gamers, fully customizable 3D home for the creative home-decorators, virtual farms and gardens for the farmers or gardeners, and even beaches or night clubs for people who are just looking for a place to chill in. Everyone can find a niche in the Smeet community! And the best part is… it is completely free-to-play!
